Theme: Your Favorite WIP

Bonus Question: What is your favorite fanwork in any of your fandoms created by someone else?

Even though I don't read much fanfiction, I couldn't possibly pick ONE fanwork! (Heck, I can't even find a common thread in those works I've bookmarked to read again, except that they are all extremely well written!) Some are pitch-perfect "missing scenes" or "long-lost episodes;" some are loopy humor, some are gut-wrenchingly sad. Most are in fandoms I adore but haven't been able to write in myself, which makes them doubly delicious to me.

Ooh, favorite is hard to pick - there are several I really love - but probably it's the AU beginnings fic for Rookie Blue, a snippet of which can be expanded from its cut tag here. I'd rate it PG-13, and there's nothing to warn for except a reference to a minor character's death (who is alive in the fandom).

I'm with silverr - how could I ever pick ONE???? Pick anything from here and you'd have a favorite - and maybe, if pressed, I could pick one from each category. But one out of all of them? Impossible, utterly impossible.

Ah~ My fave WIP. This is a toss up between Savage Horses Kept Within and Weeping Willow. Both of them are unpublished and Rurouni Kenshin, Saitou/Sano pairing, tho Savage Horses has quite a few other pairings with Saitou. I think once I figure out a rhythm in my life, I will be able to settle down and work those two fics into a rotation, so that I can finish them. I really do look forward to the day they're done, but I also know they're very long, especially Savage Horses. xD

And maybe one day I will write my Gravity Falls fic I spent a lot of time researching... Hopefully!

Oh boy, fave fanwork by someone else. Hmmmm. That's a tough one, but the first fic that comes to mind is a Thorki fic written quite a few years ago, not even sure it's still online. xD

It was just such an evocative fic and I really enjoyed it and still think of it years later.
