WIP Week Day Seven

I have SO many WIPs that I would love to see people update - but if one disregards the Pern/Talents crossover fic that was deleted 42 chapters into it (fortunately I saved it from AO3 right after the last was posted - the Internet Archive only has 20 chapters of it), then I think I would go with the Rookie Blue fic The Witness - margie311 / margieruns. It's 228k long, involves a ton of angst between the two main characters who love each other and desperately want to be together but can't for Reasons and it looks like they'll never be able to see each other again - and the last chapter posted was just as the guy found a way to track down the girl and caught sight of her, facing away from him. And that's it. JUST before we get to see them reunited, all that buildup, and then it's just dropped. Worst place ever to leave readers - so I would desperately love to see it continued, even just one chapter of them reuniting after all that time. (I don't even care if they solve their future issues or not, I just want to see them together at last!)
